Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear, truthful answers about the AdmissionArena IELTS platform.

Is AdmissionArena affiliated with IDP or the British Council?

No. AdmissionArena is an independent preparation platform designed to help students track and prepare for the IELTS exam. IELTS is a registered trademark of University of Cambridge ESOL, the British Council, and IDP Education Australia.

Does AdmissionArena support both Academic and General Training?

Yes. When setting up your profile, you can select either Academic (for higher education admission) or General Training (for work or migration visas). Practice materials adjust to your selected track.

How does the IELTS Workspace differ from the public practice tools?

The public tools provide single-session practice tests and calculators. The IELTS Workspace adds a persistent student profile, target band tracking, gap analysis across all four skills, and deterministic daily recommendations on what to practise next.

Can I set an approximate exam date if I have not booked my test yet?

Yes. AdmissionArena supports exact test booking dates, approximate planning months (e.g. November 2026), or an unbooked status. We never invent fake countdowns when your test date is not set.

Is supportive guidance available in Bengali?

Yes. While the IELTS exam itself is entirely in English, you can enable Bengali supportive guidance in your preferences to view helpful tips and explanations in Bengali.
