Official HSC Re-Scrutiny (Board Challenge) Guide
Official instructions for HSC 2026 examination re-scrutiny (খাতা পুনর্নিরীক্ষণ) published by the Inter-Education Board Committee.
Important Distinction: Result Checking vs. Re-Scrutiny
Result checking is done instantly via mobile SMS (to shortcode 16140) or online through official result portals. In contrast, re-scrutiny applications are conducted entirely online through the dedicated government re-scrutiny portal. Manual or SMS-only re-scrutiny submissions are not accepted.
Official Online Application Procedure:
- Visit the official government portal: rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd
- Select your Education Board and enter your Roll Number and Registration Number.
- Choose the specific subject(s) or paper(s) you wish to apply for re-scrutiny.
- Provide an active personal mobile number to receive application tracking and outcome notifications.
- Pay the application fee online using supported digital financial services (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, or Sonali Seba).
Note on scope: Re-scrutiny involves verifying that all questions were graded, checking for marks calculation errors, and ensuring marks were correctly posted to the ledger; it does not involve re-evaluating completed answer scripts from scratch.
